Calling all mental health care professionals?
I could use some advice since my life is a mess and has maintained that status for 48 years. I am at a loss to change old patterns because of lonliness and depression. I would appreciate anyones help. I am on instant messenger or email. It would be GREATLY appreciated!
You don’t give a whole lot to go on from this message, but from what I am understanding…you may find it worth your time to look into a cognitive-behavioral treatment called DBT ( for more info: http://www.dbtselfhelp.com). It has helped me more than anything else I had tried in almost 20 years. It offers concrete skills that can help you to change those patterns.
